  Julie, our Registered Dental Hygienist is known for her gentle and attentive care, and she is very popular with patients. Besides providing a thorough cleaning, she will inspect your mouth for any signs of cavities, decay and gum disease, and she will teach and demonstrate to you how to take care of your teeth at home.

• X-Rays

  Dental x-rays are essential to detecting oral disease, because human eyes can’t always catch symptoms. During an x-ray, you will receive extremely minimal exposure, and we provide a lead apron for added security, so you can rest assured that x-rays have many more benefits than risks. At Reichel Dental, we use high-quality, state-of-the-art equipment to provide detailed, accurate images that help us with the diagnosing process.

• • Root Canals

If your tooth has a deep cavity and the root is infected, you will need a root canal. A root canal involves removing the nerve in the tooth infected by the cavity, and then cleaning and disinfecting the root and remaining tooth. After the inside of the tooth is filled and sealed for protection, you will receive a filling or crown to restore the appearance and function of the tooth.
